Hundreds of people hold peace rally to commemorate Imam Hussain martyrdom anniversary

Hundreds of people from the Shia Muslim Community of Windsor marched to city hall Sunday to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussain.

Hussain was the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad and is said to be a symbol of peace and justice.

Participants also demonstrated their support for victims of recent terrorism by holding signs of peace as they marched.
