Christmas Gift Show supports local businesses
It was chilly as the first snow of the year fell, but at the WFCU Centre it was cozy and happy on Dec. 9.
The First Annual CC’s Christmas Gift show provided a wide variety of Christmas gifts options with over 100 vendors. There were not only handmade artists but also local small businesses as well.
Small business owner Sarah White, said she knows lots of people will be coming out for the Christmas Gift Show. It’s an excellent opportunity for both new business and people who want to find something unique in the show.
“It’s nice to have people come out. Everybody seems in the Christmas spirit, it’s been a great day.”
“I wanted to look for some Christmas gifts and I like the idea that the things are local here, and homemade… just some unique ideas for gifts.” Elizabeth Fallaise, residents in Windsor area, who coming to the Christmas Gift Show last Saturday, “I enjoyed it I thoroughly. I bought quite a few things and I will come back again. I love this event.”
The purpose of the Christmas show was to get the word out about and support local business.
“It’s really important to support your local community, and the money goes back into the local community, also handmade artist work really hard what they do, so it’s really nice to get the word out and have them see them work appreciate,” said Chelsey Carr, who organized the event.
This Christmas Gift show also provided an opportunity for people to share their love.
BBB Dog Rescue & transport was supported by CC’s Christmas Gift Show.
Donations will help dogs find homes.
