3 Windsorites charged for drug trafficking
Windsor police have charged three individuals with drug trafficking following an arrest on Wednesday.
Officers from the Drugs and Guns Unit identified suspects in a vehicle outside of a motel in the 2400 block of Dougall Avenue
All of the suspects were arrested without incident, and a quantity of cocaine was located inside the vehicle.
Soon after, a search warrant was executed at the involved motel room, and a substantial quantity of crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, cannabis, and several other items related to drug related trafficking were seized during the investigation.
The three are charged with:
- Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
- Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
- Possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking.
All three charged persons are from Windsor, and the matter remains under investigation.
