Suspect arrested for making threats against Mayor

Daniel Young, a 68-year old has been arrested by the Windsor Police Service for allegedly making death threats against Mayor Drew Dilkens.

On March 27, The Mayor’s office received a phone call from Young making threats against the Mayor.

The Major Crimes Unit initiated an investigation and identified the suspect immediately. The suspect was taken into custody at his residence in the 900 block of Wyandotte St. E around 9 p.m. on the same day.

Young has been charged for one count of uttering death threats.
