In the past, Windsor was not a popular place for tourists but that has recently changed.

Josie Hendry is currently employed as a travel agent at Leto Travel Service Inc. She is responsible for assisting people who are looking into travelling outside of the country and gathering information about tourist attractions. Hendry said she understands the importance of providing people with information about travel.

“I have been working here for two years so I’m fairly new,” said Hendry.

“Most of my clients that come here come overseas to see their families,” said Hendry.

She said she gets a lot of people of other ethnic origins. She said they tell her stories of their past and their homelands.

Lisa Dyck, is a travel agent at Leto Travel Service Inc. alongside Hendry. Dyck has been working there for a little over a year.

“Windsor is a border city, very close to the United States,” said Dyck. She mentioned events such as the Windsor Film Festival are big attractions.
