Starting next Thursday at 6 p.m. the Heimat Windsor Banquet Centre will ring with German music, dance, and of course, beer.

Oktoberfest, which will be running for two weekends, will feature traditionally-clad servers, imported beer and German dancers.

Tracey Stiller, an employee at the banquet centre, said every night will have something different to offer.

“The dancers are from the Bavarian Club (of Windsor) and they range from 5 years-old to 50 years-old,” said Stiller.

She added a different band will be playing “almost every night.”

The doors open at 4 p.m. and each night will run until midnight and tickets are $10 at the door.
