The fifth time is the charm

The St. Clair Saints are baseball champions for the fifth straight year.
St. Clair College won the 2017 OCAA Men’s Baseball Championship at Bert Lacasse Park, shutting out the Humber Hawks 1-0 in the gold medal game on Saturday.
Freshman right-hander Seth Chauvin, 18, earned the Saints’ win with his shutout performance.
The top-seeded Saints went undefeated in the two-game elimination tournament with a 6-5 win over Fanshawe and a 10-0 mercy win over Humber to send them to the finals.
St. Clair’s Carson Burke and Kevin Dion earned all-star team honours along with teammate Michael McKay.
McKay was also named the tournament’s most valuable player.
