A Windsor gas station robbed

A gas station on the 2300 block of Walker Road has been robbed.

Patrol officers were dispatched to the gas station Tuesday after a suspect entered the store and took money.

A police report said he had a knife and demanded cash. A picture from surveillance footage was released, in which the suspect is shown as a 25-30 year-old white man wearing a black balaclava, dark jacket, black pants and black shoes.

“It’s kind of a unique jacket that he’s wearing, a two-toned jacket so we’re hoping that triggers some tips from the public,” said Constable Andrew Drouillard from the Windsor Police Service.

According to police, the suspect was last seen running in a “south/west direction.”

Police are still investigating.
