Windsor police charge suspect in jewelry robbery

A suspect in last week’s jewelry robbery in Windsor has been charged by police investigators.

Police said a man, who had concealed his identity, jumped the front counter of a business at Tecumseh Road and Rivard Avenue on Feb. 5.

He took numerous pieces of jewelry and ran out the door.

Four days later, a 31-year-old man was arrested in the 4600 block of Tecumseh Road.

He is charged with one count of robbery.
