Police recover stolen vehicle, seize drugs

A Windsor cop’s sharp eye led to the recovery of a stolen car, a drug seizure – and an arrest.

The action started last Monday morning when Windsor Police spotted a stolen grey Cadillac in the 5400 block of Reginald St. bearing the license plate of a different vehicle, stolen in January. They watched as a man left the address with the stolen vehicle before removing the license plate.

Police arrested the driver and during a subsequent search, found a quantity of methamphetamine.

Blake Carter, 21, has been charged with possession of stolen property, possession of methamphetamine and breach of probation.
