Travel on March Break

Carlson Wagonlit Travel is one of many travel agencies in Windsor that have people booking tickets for March Break vacations.

Normally people start looking for spring vacation places during the fall months like September and October. Anytime after that, plane seats are full and prices go up.

Kathleen Warren, a travel counselor for 46 years, said that the most popular places people book are the warmer areas in the world. Places like Jamaica, Cuba and Mexico were the top places for 2019 March Break.  

The lower price vacations are areas like Cuba and Mexico, even though there have been some issues in those areas according to Warren.

Most of the travelers during March break are families with young kids, according to Warren.
