Wrestling fans are being treated to world class wrestling as Border City Wrestling hosts Impact Wrestling tapings at St. Clair College.

It was a sold-out crowd at the old St. Clair College gym as the superstars of Impact wrestling took to action on March 22 and 23.

The show was a co-promotion of Windsor’s own Border City Wrestling and Impact Wrestling. Windsor native Scott D’amore is the Vice President of Impact Wrestling and brought superstars from around the world right here to Windsor.

“Impact Wrestling showcases world class talent from across the globe,” said Mike Michalski, BCW fan. “This taping was no exception. To see wrestlers like Mexico’s Pentagon Jr. and Fenix, the two hottest performers in the game today, right here in Windsor is as good as it gets for fans. It just doesn’t get any better than that.”

Headlined by Johnny Impact, The Lucha Bros and Brian Cage, the night was also a huge show case for many of the longtime local Border City wrestlers such as Cody Deaner, Adien Prince and El Reverso. For some of them it was their first chance to be on international television tapings.

“I am no stranger to St. Clair College,” said Cody Deaner, Border City Wrestling Heavyweight Champion. “I’ve been wrestling for many years with Border City Wrestling, so I got the Windsor crowd behind me yelling and screaming. I couldn’t have asked for a better place or better crowd.”

The tapings will air on television in Canada on the Fight Network and in other countries next month. Impact Wrestling will return to St. Clair College in July.
