AMHERSTBURG – The Amherstburg Uncommon Festival has been able to provide more than just an outlet for steampunk and “Harry Potter” fans. It also creates exposure for local business.

Bakery and café Caffeine and Company was one such business on Sept. 28 as attendees and regular people alike stopped in. Located at 238 Dalhousie St., Caffeine and Company was opened in the summer of 2018. According to Stephanie Bradt of Border City Living, Caffeine and Company has become a favourite spot among locals since it opened. It certainly benefits from new customers that the local event has drawn to the area. As for the festival itself, it began on Sept. 27 and ran through the weekend Sept. 29.
