WIFF celebrates its 15th anniversary
The Windsor International Film Festival is a cultural, not-for-profit organization whose mission is to recognize and celebrate the art of cinema by showcasing Canadian and international films and filmmakers.
This year’s festival started in Chrysler Theatre with the movie Invisibles. The festival ran from Nov.1 to Nov.10. This year’s festival featured more than 277 screenings, 165 films and documentaries, and 13 short films.
The film festival ended its biggest year yet with the announcement that the Oscar-qualifying drama The Irishman will be shown at the Capitol Theatre from Nov.21 to 28.
