$150k in damages in attic fire on McKay Avenue

Windsor Fire and Rescue Services responded to a house fire which broke out in the 2500 block of McKay Avenue Dec. 6.

It was reported that all the residents exited the building and no injuries occurred.

A WFRS investigator was sent to the scene and determined the origin of the fire was a kitchen fan failure in the attic of the house.

Damages reported include $150,000 to the structure of the home, and $50,000 to the contents.
