Suspect identified, arrested in firearms theft

An adult male suspect has been identified who was involved in a theft of firearms and ammunition.

A 42-year-old of no fixed address has been charged with theft under $5000, breach probation, and 10 counts of firearm related offences.

On Jan. 23, 2020, at around 9:00 a.m., patrol officers responded to a business located in the 4100 block of Walker Road after the report of a theft.

On Feb. 4, 2020 at around 1:00 p.m., the man was located and arrested. The stolen firearms have not been found.
