Could you be an extra in the next Hollywood Blockbuster?
There is an incentive to bring the film industry to the London, Chatham and Windsor regions.
The mayors of the Southwestern region of Ontario want same opportunities that Toronto has. They want their areas to become an attraction for movies and television.
What does this region have that Toronto doesn’t? Corn fields? Rural areas?
But there are also gems here like:
- Point Pelee, one of Canada’s national parks
- North Buxton, part of Chatham-Kent
- The Riverfront, a walkway along the Detroit River with an amazing view of the Detroit City skyline
- Windsor Sculpture Park
- Jackson Park
- Amazing street art murals in downtown Windsor.
- Art Gallery
And more cool unique places.
Can you imagine Adam Sandler or Kevin Hart hanging around Windsor for a movie shoot? Can you imagine being extra and standing next to them or even better, being casted to star in the movie with them!
Now might be a good time to start brushing up on those acting skills, because the LIGHTS, CAMERA, and the ACTION, might be coming your way soon.
