The Ultimate Morning Routine

There are two types of people in this world, those who are happy and have a zest for life in the morning, and those who think mornings should be canceled altogether. Now since we can’t just delete half of our day, this is a morning routine that might make you want to see what the world has to offer at 8 a.m. 

A morning routine boosts happiness and increases productivity. A morning routine is all about you controlling your day; the day doesn’t control you. To create a positive mental space in the morning, set goals. Come up with three reasonable goals to complete each day and write them down. Write it on your phone, a note pad, or sticky notes and it gives you something to focus on. Making lists and writing your thoughts down can free your mind of stress and anxiety. 

To help your emotional well-being in the early hours of the day, make sure to express gratitude rather than negative thoughts. When you wake up in the morning, think of two things you are grateful for. What makes you feel good? What brings you happiness and excitement for the day? Get more of whatever that is. 

Once you get out go bed, get the blood flowing. This could be by going for a run, a hike, a morning stretch, or yoga, what works for one person doesn’t work for everyone. Also before drinking coffee in the morning, drink something that will hydrate you. Drinking lemon water can be beneficial for hydration, it supports weight loss, and improves your skin quality. We also need to eat a good breakfast to start out day. That could be a protein smoothie, avocado toast with an egg, or oatmeal, as long as it’s a healthy breakfast. 

Now that you have more time at home, it’s the perfect time to make your goals happen. Find one or two things that work for you and start from there and work your way up. Keeping it simple and easy going is going to give you the most beneficial mornings!
