Canada’s updated travel rules

As of Friday, April 1, fully vaccinated travellers are no longer required to show a negative pre-entry test to enter Canada. Proof of vaccination will still be needed to board federally regulated air, rail and marine transportation, with the government indicating no intention to lift the policy for travel. 

To qualify as a fully vaccinated traveller, you need to have at least two doses of a Canadian government-accepted Covid-19 vaccine or at least one dose of the Janssen/Johnson & Johnson vaccine. If you have two doses of different vaccines, you will still be qualified to enter.  

 All travellers entering Canada are also required to wear a mask when in public spaces, both indoors and outdoors, for 14 days after entry.
