Latest updates on transit Windsor
These past few weeks tensions have been high at Transit Windsor but things are once again leaning towards labor unrest.
The union representing transit employees has been bargaining with the City of Windsor the past two weekends, but they have not yet settled on a contract.
ATU vice president said “students groups, riders and the general public are very cooperative and support our fight for fair deal with transit workers.”
Union membership is providing an update to negotiations today.
They cannot legally go on strike without first issuing a 72-hour notice.
