COVID-19 Parking perks come to an end

Free parking in the city of Windsor is now coming to an end as of Feb. 10.
The city created 15-minutes of free-parking at meters across Windsor during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to encourage people to visit local businesses.
That was extended to an hour in 2022 by city council.
According to the city, this perk has now run its course as the pandemic is over.
Residents are asked to contact 311 for any concerns.
