Stolen vehicle used in attempted break in
The Windsor Police are looking for two suspects who used a stolen truck for an attempted break-and-enter in East Windsor on March 20.
Around 3:30 a.m., at a business in the 1100 block of Lauzon Rd police responded to a security alarm. The suspects attached chains to a black Dodge Ram with the entrance of the business to pull the door off and enter in. The attempt failed and the suspects fled the scene, heading east down Little River Blvd.
After around 90 minutes, the police learned about a vehicle fire in the 2600 block of Sycamore Dr. As the investigation went on, the police came to know that this was the same truck used at Lauzon Rd. The vehicle sustained significant fire damage.
Both suspects were described as male, wearing a balaclava, dark grey jacket, grey pants, and black shoes.
Local residents are asked to check their surveillance and dash cam footage of 2:30 a.m. to 4 a.m by the investigators to gather more evidence.
