Nagarkirtan winds through downtown Windsor
Nagarkirtan, meaning “town kirtan,” involves devotees walking through the streets while singing hymns and chanting the name of God.
The procession is led by the Panj Pyare, the Five Beloved Ones, who hold significant religious importance in Sikhism.
And a key feature of Nagarkirtan is the Langar, where free meals are served to all, highlighting Sikh values of service and equality.
