Shoppers are shopping local for loved ones this holiday season.

This past Saturday the Moms Market of Windsor held the second annual Holiday Market at the Fogolar Furlan Club.Consumers got to shop a wide variety of vendors for the holidays.

Deanna Santos is the Market Director for the Moms Market in Windsor, and she talked about the importance of the market.

“So the Mom Market was started by Jasmine, she’s the CEO and she just wanted to bring community together,” said Santos. “Moms together support local vendors, so it’s a really great way to bring people together.”

Several local businesses were in attendance including A Hole Lotta Donuts, Pure Vibes Nutrition, Fermata Piano studios and Zach Attack Productions. This gave shoppers a wide variety to shop and get information of just about anything.

Ravina and Daniel. The owners of Pure Vibes Nutrition said they just want to make being healthy fun.

“Smoothies, energy boosting tea bombs and then we also help people lose weight or gain weight depending on their goal,” said Ravina.

Daniel said he just wants to make drinking healthy more fun.

“So Pure Vibes Nutrition was created off of making healthy, fun stuff,” said Daniel.

The market also featured entertainment where singer Abbey Neves sang holiday classics. Some of the songs that were performed included I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause, Silent Night and I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas.

In addition to entertaining, Neves owns A Hhole Lotta Donuts and said why she decided to get into the donut business.

“I started baking during the pandemic in 2020 and everybody wanted to try my donuts,” said Neves. “I had a donut pan that my mom had gotten me and I was posting all the different ones I was making and everybody said, Will you sell them? Will you sell them? Will you sell them? Then I said, No, no, no, no, no. Then  one day my mom said, just do it.”

If you missed this market, there will be many opportunities to shop local for the holidays. You can check out The Moms Market and follow them on Instagram to see where they pop up next.
