Four local men have been arrested in relation to a recent drug investigation.

Members of the Windsor Police Drug and Gun Unit conducting an investigation obtained a warrant for a residence in the 700 block of Josephine Avenue.

Officers witnessed a male leaving the residence. The man was quickly found in a Chrysler Concorde and arrested at the intersection of Campbell Avenue and College Avenue at 6:10 p.m. 58.4 grams of cocaine were found in the vehicle.

WPS searched the residence to find 3,273.7 grams of cocaine. Three other men were arrested in relation to the cocaine found.

The investigation also revealed a hydraulic press, digital scales, a Brown single-shot bolt action rifle, a Brown Remington rifle and a Marksman rifle pellet gun.

The total value of drugs seized is $333, 255.

All four men are facing charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

In a 24-hour period spanning Feb. 19-20, Windsor Police Service:

▪   Answered 253 calls to emergency 911 phone lines

▪   Responded to 84 calls to 911 requiring police assistance

▪   Handled 312 calls for service, dispatched or officer-initiated

▪   Issued 65 tickets for provincial offences

▪   Arrested and lodged 12 prisoners
