Police blotter Feb. 22

Windsor Police Service is asking for assistance in locating a suspect involved in the break and enter at the XS Family Fun Centre.
The suspect, whose gender is currently unknown, entered the business between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Feb. 20.
The suspect then stuffed 36 stuffed toys, many of which were approximately two feet in size, into plastic bags. They made several trips for the bags then left the area going south towards Tecumseh Mall.
The toys are of various characters including Care Bears, panda bears, Smurfs and others.
The suspect is described as being 5 feet 8 inches in height and wearing dark clothes with a hood.

In a 24-hour period spanning Feb. 21-22, Windsor Police Service:
• Answered 242 calls to emergency 911 phone lines
• Responded to 57 calls to 911 requiring police assistance
• Handled 237 calls for service, dispatched or officer-initiated
• Issued 70 tickets for provincial offences
• Arrested and lodged 18 prisoners
