Veterans protest the closing of Veterans Affairs by HaileyTrealout

Just a week before Remembrance Day, and those who stood on guard for Canada, stood in protest outside City Hall on Monday.

The Federal Government has announced the Veterans Affairs office will be shut down before February.

Veteran’s Offices across the country are slated to close due to budget cuts. As Hailey Trealout reports. the local veterans want City Council on their side in the fight to get that decision reversed.
