Job fairs continue to be popular in Windsor, connecting employers, employees and job seekers.
They also give new graduates a great chance to figure out their next steps.
Accu-Staff, a local recruitment agency, recently held a job fair at the WFCU Centre.
It included a variety of potential jobs – depending on applicants’ education and job needs – from mould makers to director positions.
Kelly Nimmo, Accu-Staff’s branch manager, said her 18 years with company have helped her better understand the needs of potential employees.
The Accu-Staff job fair event is bigger than just presenting jobs, she said. People go home with a better idea of what they really need and want to do in the future.
“But yes, we try to help everybody out,” said Nimmo.
She is also optimistic that the message about this event will resonate with the public.
