Alleged car thieves arrested

A pair of suspected car thieves have been arrested after fleeing police earlier this week.

Around 9:45 a.m. Oct. 15, police were notified about a 2019 Ford F-150 pickup truck being stolen and driven in the area of Wyandotte and McDougall Streets.

A 34-year-old male was arrested and charged with theft, failing to stop for police and possession of stolen property.

A 29-year-old female was charged with possession of stolen property.

The car was found by officers abandoned in the area of Benjamin and Langlois Avenues.
