Leaders from all faiths in Winsor are offering help to people who face challenges in their day to day lives.
They say they understand that in today’s fast pace life everyone needs help to deal with the struggles they face in personal, family and social activities.
“One can come and visit the temple and talk to any preacher. We can try to help him by advising how he can deal with the challenges of modern life by using the quotes of our holy books and explaining that to him,” said Rajvinder Singh, a Guru of the Gurdwara Khalsha Parkash in Windsor. “Sadness and happiness both are parts of our lives but we have to have faith that things will change and keep on trying within our capacity.”
According to the Faith and Health Connection website life and stress go hand in hand. There is no getting around it. People will experience lots of stress in their lives. The degree to which people effectively manage and cope with the stress in their lives will determine the degree to which they are healthy.
Ronnie Haidar is the media and public relations representative of the Windsor Islamic Association.
“We have an open door policy in our mosque and any one is welcome to come in and ask for any kind of assistance and we will try our best,” said Haidar.
Windsor Buddhist Vihara offers meditation for anyone interested in seeking mental relaxation and inner peace of mind.
According to the Adrenal Fatigue Solution website faith generates optimism, enriches interpersonal relationships, creates support systems and enhances quality life.
Leaders from all faith are asking people to contact them over phone or visit their website if they need help.
