Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island wants to know your favourite local spots.

Voting is now underway for its third annual Best of Windsor Essex Awards. There are 210 finalists across 42 categories including arts and entertainment, live music space and even best photo op.

CEO of Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island Gordon Orr said this third annual initiative will feature some of the best of our local assets available to Windsorites and tourists.

“This social media campaign is important to TWEPI as a marketing tool to better understand where ‘locals’ like to patronize,” said Orr.

Downtown’s March 21 is in the running for Best Coffee shop. Owner Henry Kim said he is excited for the nomination because his shop is unique to the area.

“We offer different specialty coffees and different methods of brewing,” said Kim.

Voting takes place at www.bestofwindsoressex.ca from now until March 11 at 11:59 p.m.

“With the caliber of these finalists it will be hard for voters to just choose one,” said Orr.

Winners will be announced on April 17 and a full list of all the winners will be posted at www.bestofwindsoressex.ca. The list of winners will also be included in the 2018/2019 edition of the Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island Official Visitor Guide hitting newsstands in April 2018.
