Bodies of two drowning victims recovered

The bodies of two men have been recovered from Lake. St Clair after the swimmers went missing from Sandpoint Beach Thursday evening.

Witnesses saw them swimming to the west side of the beach and informed emergency services when they arrived on the scene.

The deceased are identified as Yogesh Bajgai and Rohit Dheer.

Both men were in their early 20s.

Bajgai was working and living in Windsor and Dheer recently graduated from St. Clair College.

With this incident, city reps say eight people have now drowned at Sandpoint Beach.
