Broken window in downtown china shop

A broken window was discovered by an unknown civilian Friday morning at Shanfield-Meyers Canada Gift Shop located at 176 Ouellette Ave and Sergeant Steve Dickson confirmed that. An unknown person had broken the window and fled the scene.

A bystander said that a rock was thrown through the window. The person has not been caught by police.

Shanfield-Meyers China Shop has been open since 1946. They are a large retailer of china in North America. Their main store is located at 188 Ouellette Ave. Their second store, where the incident happened, is right next door at 176 Ouellette Ave.
