Busy March Break For Windsor Police include two stabbings in 48-hours
In less than 48 hours, stabbings occurred at two locations in the city.
On Thursday March 14, officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of California Avenue. The male victim was allegedly assaulted and stabbed during a verbal altercation in a parking lot. He was transferred to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Four male suspects are believed to be involved and were seen in a black Ford Escape, possibly a 2008 model.
The Forensic Identification Unit attended and processed the scene and the weapon remains outstanding.
The suspects are described as minors and detail description could be find on Windsor Police site.
In a separate incident two days later, officers responded to the area of Wyandotte Street West at Sunset Avenue for a report of a stabbing of an adult male. Investigation revealed a cab driver had been stabbed following a confrontation with two suspects, a man and a woman.
The injured cab driver was treated at hospital for a non-life-threatening injury.
Windsor Police have recovered the surveillance photographs of the suspects of which both are in their early 20’s. Photos with detail description of suspects could be seen at Windsor Police Site.
