Captain wins Jubilee Medal brief

The commanding officer for the army cadet core at Branch 594 was awarded with the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal March 27.
The Diamond Jubilee Medal was made as a commemoration to the Queen. It marks the 60 year anniversary of the accession to the throne of Queen Elizabeth II and is used to recognize contributions and achievements.
Maj. Lloyd Sainsbury presented the medal to Capt. Brad Krewench for his commitment towards the cadet movement.
The Royal Canadian Army Cadets is a national organization for youth ages 12 – 18. The program was designed to teach younger generations a sense of citizenship, leadership, discipline, effective speaking and outdoor survival.
