Charges laid in fatal crash

A man has been charged in a car crash that killed three St. Clair College international students on Oct. 4.

The single-vehicle car crash occurred Oct. 4 at approximately 1:30 a.m., off of Oil Heritage Road in Lambton County.

22-year-old Jovanpreet Singh now faces numerous charges, including three counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, criminal negligence causing death, and dangerous operation causing bodily harm, and obstructing a peace officer.

Singh is an international student from India, studying in the business program at St. Clair College.

A bail hearing will take place Oct. 31.
