The Christmas season is arriving at the Capitol Theatre in downtown Windsor with the performance of a holiday favourite, The Nutcracker, this weekend.
The performance is presented by Edmunds Towers School of Dance students and is performed by more than 125 costumed dancers to the music of Tchaikovsky.
“It’s a full season of holiday cheer at the Capitol Theatre and The Nutcracker will get you in the holiday spirit,” said Marketing Manager Gian Carlo Mincone. “The Capitol Theatre has lots of holiday events that are happening.”
Other holiday events include Once Upon A Christmas which will be performed by Windsor Dance eXperience Dec. 8.
The Windsor Symphony Orchestra will be performing Toldo Holiday Pops.
“It brings you holiday cheer and joy that is perfect for adults, seniors, small children, whole families and staff office parties,’ said Mincone.
Toldo Holiday Pops has a surprise that Mincone is keeping under wraps. There is going to be a special visitor in a red suit who has RSVP’d. According to Mincone, the event is a great coming together of the community where everyone can celebrate the holidays.
