Construction season enters final months

WINDSOR – Construction in Windsor is ongoing even as the end of roadwork season is near.

While the photos shown were taken on Ojibway Parkway showcasing the repair of nearby Broadway Street, it is just one of many projects that are in the works. According to the City of Windsor’s website, some of the 20 other roads being repaired include Park Street West from Pelissier Street to Caron Avenue. The aimed completion dates range from late September at the earliest and mid-December at the latest. Zachary Balogh, a 24-year-old St. Clair College student said  “As a transit rider, we’re always being detoured out of our way and we get there later than anticipated. With the roadwork done, hopefully it will allow for a smoother ride.”
