Did you know? Geese eat fish   

Canadian geese are eating out of their comfort zone.  

This is not a fact that you would associate with Canada Geese who are known for eating plants and berries, but did you know that these geese have an appetite for fish? Canadian Geese are normally herbivores and will eat food such as grass, vegetables, grains, corn and wheat, but do tend to eat fish and insects on occasion. Sometimes geese eat fish because they want to and other times, they will grab it and throw it back in the water. In short Canadian Geese will grab a fish but it is not so often that they do.
