Easter Seals to host annual telethon

The Easter Seals telethon is back this year and is expected to happen on March 25.

The annual telethon raises money to help with children’s education and to buy them health care amenities.

Last year, Easter Seals raised nearly $206,000 which paid for many items including wheel chairs and crutches.

“Each penny is important and helps us to get to our goal,” said former Easter Seals ambassador Morgan Murphy.

The event not only takes place in Windsor but in other places around Ontario.

The money raised from the event will be distributed to many different communities.
