Netflix Canada has cancelled another Marvel show. Over the past couple months Netflix has cancelled Iron Fist, Luke Cage and now, Daredevil. The only remaining Marvel Netflix Original shows are Punisher, Jessica Jones and Defenders. According to the ENews website, Netflix said in a statement, “Marvel’s Daredevil will not return for a fourth season on Netflix. We are tremendously proud of the show’s last and final season and although it’s painful for the fans, we feel it best to close this chapter on a high note… While the series on Netflix has ended, the three existing seasons will remain on the service for years to come, while the Daredevil character will live on in future projects for Marvel.”

In other entertainment news, singer/songwriter Ariana Grande announced she is developing a mini documentary series called Dangerous Woman Diaries. The show started airing Thursday Nov. 29. The show already has four episodes on YouTube. In the fourth video Grande read a letter she wrote following the events of the Manchester bombing which happened May 22, 2017 and took the lives of 22 people, leaving 500 injured.

In local entertainment news, St. Clair College’s music theatre performance students are performing on their 13th annual Christmas show on Dec. 7, 2018 at the Chrysler Theatre in Windsor. The title of this year’s show is Merry Christmas 1930s and will include a festive spin on older jazz songs and will include some classical Christmas songs. Ticket prices are $20 for adults and $10 for students. The event takes place December 7-8, 13-14 at 7:30 p.m and December 15th at 2 p.m.

Country music star Brad Paisley comes to Caesars Windsor April 27, 2019. Paisley is a platinum selling, multi-award winning country pop artist. He has been on tour for the past year to support his newest album Love and War which is his eleventh studio album to date. The concert starts at 9 p.m and is for people 19 years and older. Tickets have already gone on sale and start at $78.
