The Arts: The excellence In Focus Exhibit with Nancy Bauer will be held at the Common Ground Gallery inside Mackenzie Hall from Sept. 20 to Oct. 1.

Nancy is an artist known for her still life paintings and unique portraits. While the exhibit is a celebration of her work, there will also be a guest artist wall to show off the work of Linda Monin, a well-known photographer.

The Theatre: The University of Windsor’s University Players presents an adaption of Charlotte Brontë’s gothic romance novel, Jane Eyre at the Essex Hall Theatre from Sept. 27 to Oct. 1.

Polly Teale’s adaption shows the rocky relationship between the master of Thornfield, Mr. Rochester and Jane, the poor orphan girl working as the governess in Thornfield. Tickets are available for purchase online at www.UniversityPlayers.com or by calling 519-253-3000, ext. 2808.

The Music: The Music of Star Wars will be performed by the Windsor Symphony Orchestra at the Capitol Theatre from Sept. 30 to Oct. 1.

The show will explore music from all the Star Wars films, including a name that film/character trivia contest.

Also taking place at the Capitol Theatre is Tommy Youngsteen’s performance of Bruce Springsteen’s Born in the U.S.A. on Oct. 6.
