Everyday is a Holiday
Feb 9 is Pizza Day. How was pizza invented and where was Hawaiian pizza invented? For those who still don’t know official pizza story begins with the invention of pizza for the queen consort of Italy Margherita of Savoy. It is called the same name and just consists of tomato sauce, basil, and some cheese. Later, people got hungrier and added everything they had in their fridges. One of the most famous and my favorite pizzas is Hawaiian Pizza. And it was invented here in Ontario by an immigrant from Greece, he combined sweet and sour flavors and now we have the best pizza ever. By the way, it was invented not so far away from Windsor in Chatham-Kent in a Satellite restaurant.

According to Chinese traditions, people in China eat noodles to have a long life, dumplings to be rich and give red envelopes with money in it .It is an ancient tradition to scare a demon that comes at night to take souls of kids .They also decorate homes with mandarins or tangerines. For me, it is a very special year because it is a year of dragon and I’m a dragon. Also, they explode firecrackers, it is an extremely loud week, and all the streets are full of red paper.
