Gunshots Ring Out in “Little Italy”: Local Restaurant Damaged, No Injuries Reported 

Windsor Police are investigating a shooting on Erie Street.

Multiple gunshots startled residents of Erie Street, known affectionately as “Little Italy.”

No injuries were reported, but a local restaurant sustained damage in the incident. 

 According to the Windsor Police report, the shooting occurred last Wednesday, causing a momentary panic among locals. Police responded swiftly to the scene and secured the area for investigation. 

 Carlos Amanio, a nearby resident, expressed his shock, stating, “It’s bizarre that Erie St was never like this before, and it’s hard to go outside when it gets dark.”

Amanio hopes for a swift resolution to the situation. 

Windsor Police are urging anyone with information to come forward. They have identified a newer model blacked-out GMC Z71 pickup truck, equipped with a ball trailer hitch as the suspect vehicle.
