BOO!

Halloween this year was rather strange, with little decorations or children trick or treating. Many people were nervous to hand out candy or let their little “goblins” out onto the streets. While other’s found unique ways to celebrate Halloween this year; check out these cool ideas many families had.

  1. Using a tube to hand out candy. – This was done by using a 6-foot tube to pass candy from the house to a trick or treater. Many families even decorated these tubes with Halloween decorations. Check this link out to see how a dad designed his tube! https://globalnews.ca/news/7338427/halloween-2020-trick-or-treat-coronavirus-candy/
  2. The NBA star, Shooting Hoops. –  This was completed by simply having the children stand 6-feet away and tossing the candy into their bag, the trick or treaters would have to catch their treat unless they wanted a dirty candy. https://www.sbnation.com/2020/10/29/21507981/halloween-2020-social-distance-tips-covid-19-pandemic
  3. Laying candy out on a table. – Laying candy on a table may not be as fun as the others, but it’s practical and left plenty of room for physical distancing

Many people may have also stayed home with their families and celebrated in different ways, Halloween parties (with people in their bubble), Halloween movie marathon, pumpkin carving contest and many more fun activities!

Hopefully everyone had a Spooktacular night and enjoyed the full moon.
