Today is Friday, Feb 23 Curling is Cool Day. Did you know that this game was invented in 1500 in Scotland and just after was brought to Canada? And from that time the concept did not change too much, you launch, you sweep, and you score!

Saturday, Feb 24 World Bartender Day. You can tell this is one of the oldest professions that exists, because there were always places or taverns where people got their drinks, with people from the beginning of the times serving and making different beverages for customers. So, celebrate this day giving a generous tip to your local bartender. Because Saturday night they will work too.

Sunday, Feb 25 Who likes soup here? Today, can celebrate a clam chowder day! There are a bunch of recipes. From my kitchen to yours take clams, boil them, take out the inside part, and fry slightly with butter. Separately you make veggie soup with onions and potatoes, carrots, and celery. There needs to be more veggies than water. When you blend it, the soup will be more creamy than watery. Then add the clams, and you can garnish it with some croutons.

Monday, Feb 26 Tell a Fairy Tale Day. I would make this day officially a day to dress up like characters from favourite fairy tales. The first fairy tales were dated back to 3000 B.C. But of course, the most famous and fundamental fathers of the fairy tales were Brothers Grim, Charles Perrault, and Hans Christian Andersen.

Tuesday, Feb 27  It’s National Pokémon day. On Feb. 27, 1996,  Pokémon was released, and Pikachu for everyone across the world. And the original name of the Pokémon was Pocket Monsters. For me, there are still some monsters, so I never watch them.

Wednesday, Feb 28 This day has so many cool holidays, like tooth fairy day, also official everywhere sleeping day. Also, it’s pink day chocolate soufflé day and happy birthday to my husband. It is also inconvenient for yourself day. This is a very nice day, you need to do everything that is inconvenient for you but it’s convenient for somebody else, like helping your neighbours to walk their dog.

Thursday, Feb 29 We are lucky for a leap year this year! An extra day to do your own thing! Today is also an interesting day for different cultures. For example, in Greece, you cannot marry on this day, because your marriage will be unlucky, but if you’re in Ireland, a woman can propose on this day to a man and the man cannot even refuse because he can be fined. So, on this day let’s just chill and watch a funny movie The Leap Year and enjoy the end of the winter too.
