How students will spend March Break

Between March 11 and 15 is St. Clair College’s one-week break for staff and students. We asked students how they were planning to spend their week off.
“After reading week I have three exams,” Emeka Onyeukwu, a Data Analytics for Business student said. “So I’m reading advanced statistics and machine learning.”
Onyeukwu added he will visit his sister and some extended family during the one-week break.
Gabrielle Landry, a Paralegal student, on the other hand, said she will work as a day camp counselor near her home and finish some school work.
“I’m definitely going to catch up with some school work and try to get ahead as much as I can,” Landry said. “I do also enjoy reading so I will be spending some downtime with my family, friends and with my dogs too.”
Instructor for the Graphic Design and Advertising program Alan McKinnon said he will spend March break in Mexico snorkeling with his 14-year-old son.
He recommends students have fun and take a break during the week off.
“Students should sleep,” McKinnon said. “I am teaching an 8 a.m. class, I get a lot of tired students in here. I think they should travel in some way. If they can’t afford to travel far, they should travel locally.”
