Investigation following shots fired on Riberdy Road

Windsor police are investigating shots fired towards a Riberdy Road residence.

During the evening of Feb. 1, officers responded and confirmed a report of multiple gunshots striking a home in the 3900 block of Riberdy Road, near Windsor International Airport.

No injuries were reported.

The area surrounding the residence was secured by officers. An investigation was launched and witnesses in the area were interviewed.

Officers were told a two-door charcoal grey soft-top Ford Mustang was spotted fleeing the area following the incident. Investigators believe the vehicle may have been involved.

Windsor Police Service’s Forensic Identification Branch have attended and examined the scene.

The incident is still under investigation.
