Jon Bon Jovi: Good Guy – Right Place, Right Time
Jon Bon Jovi, the musician famous for multiple hit songs including “Livin’ on a Prayer” and “You Give Love a Bad Name” has proved again his commitment to compassion.
The singer/songwriter was nearby filming a music video for a song on his band’s new album “Forever” when he noticed that a woman was standing on the ledge of the bridge and holding onto the guardrail.
Video footage of the event is making its rounds online showing Bon Jovi and someone else, who was later identified by news outlets as a production assistant, slowly approaching the woman and talking to her. After a few moments, the woman was assisted back over the railing to safety by Bon Jovi and his assistant. Nashville Police took to Facebook to post a “shoutout” for the good deed the two did helping the woman through her moment of crisis.
Bon Jovi has been previously praised for his charity work. His foundation, the JBJ Soul Foundation, works hard to bring relief to homeless people through endeavors like a local community restaurant, serving food to those in need, and programs for affordable housing and help for veterans.
