St. Clair College Women’s Basketball
The St. Clair College Saints women’s basketball team suffered their second loss of the regular season at Fanshawe College Nov. 21.
The Saints trailed 18-15 after the first quarter but held a three point lead at halftime.
The Saints were outscored down the stretch in the fourth quarter 21-14 and watched their lead slip away.
Jaide Lyons led the Saints offensively in the loss with 16 points and five assists.
St. Clair College Men’s Basketball
After a slow start the St. Clair College Saints men’s basketball team was unable to recover, eventually losing 63-54 to Fanshawe College Nov. 21.
Trailing 19-5 after one quarter, the Saints played even with Fanshawe in the second and third quarters and cut the lead to four points early in the fourth.
The Saints outscored Fanshawe 18-13 in the final quarter but could not overcome the slow start, falling to 5-3 on the season.
Saints rookie Demetrias Kah and Matt Nuna each scored 10 points leading St. Clair offensively. Alex Temesy also chipped in nine points in the loss.
